Yesterday NSAR hosted a successful workshop to a group of over 20 rail professionals to help them address The Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education’s (IFATE) Engineering and Manufacturing Review which includes several Rail Apprenticeships Standards.
The event covered an update on recent apprenticeship performance insights and provided guidance to support delegates to be able to participate effectively in the review. Attendees included representatives from organisations such as Eurostar, Siemens, GWR, South Eastern Railway, Intertrain UK Ltd, Colas Rail and Northern Rail to name a few.
The IFATE Engineering and Manufacturing Consultation closes on Wednesday 5th February 2020. All responses are important as this is a great opportunity to comment and steer updates to standards in line with industry demands.
