DfT have released Apprenticeships and Levy Statistics for March 2019 providing statistics covering England.
The publication shows that for the first 6 months of the 2018/19 academic year to end of January 2019, there have been 225,800 starts, of which 52% were levy funded and 60% were on standards. Overall there has been a 10% increase in starts when compared to 206,100 reported in the equivalent period in 2017/18.
