NSAR Head Of Skills Intelligence Neil Franklin attended the WISE Conference yesterday as a keynote speaker. Taking place at the IET, Neil delivered a presentation entitled “The skills mix of the future and diversity in rail” and stresses diversity in rail is a challenge that needs addressing urgently.
The conference focused on the central issue of women participating fully in the UK’s technology and engineering workforce. With jobs and skills changing due to digitisation, AI and increasingly advanced technology – what does this mean for women? What does it mean for education and training providers? What does it mean for employers?
