NEW chair of DfE skills and productivity board announced

Stephen Van Rooyen (an ex-executive vice president at international
broadcaster Sky) has been appointed as the first chair of the Department for Education’s (DfE) skills and productivity board. Education secretary Gavin Williamson stated that van Rooyen will lead the new group to provide “expert advice” on how courses and qualifications should align to the skills that employers need post-COVID-19.

NSAR recently worked with the DfE to deliver the Apprenticeship Intermediary Service due to our to unique position sitting between the key stakeholder groups, employers, academia and training providers as well as our Skills & Training offering.
