National Apprenticeship Week took place last week and according to some, there has been a renewed optimism about the role of apprentices in the recruitment strategies of companies. The Education and Skills Funding Agency’s (ESFA) move to roll out access of the government’s digital apprenticeship service to non-levy paying employers has allowed many more SME’s to participate in the scheme. We would like to remind you that NSAR is currently working partnership with the ESFA to engage LEPs, Chambers, Intermediaries, the FSB and CBI’s by providing an Apprenticeship Intermediary Service (A centralised support service delivered by in partnership with the ESFA) to help smaller businesses within their network get to grips with the recent changes to apprenticeships and registration.
