This workshop is part of a research project funded by the Transforming Construction Network Plus and executed by the University of Dundee and Whole Life Consultants Ltd, supported by the Department of Transport (DFT).
The second workshop will report the findings of this 8-month project, including the results of a survey of professionals involved in driving improved performance in the construction industry, the outputs from the first workshop held in November 2019, and the findings from the recently completed pilot studies.
Progress will also be reported on the development of a major follow up project to develop a portfolio of demonstrators with Clients, Sponsors, and Suppliers to build on and establish best practice in the way we design, build, assure and integrate innovations within major transport infrastructure assets. The value of these demonstrators will be benchmarked through a new national benchmarking forum to showcase the potential of close-to-market solutions to move beyond the current state-of-the-art, to drive greater productivity, and wider social benefits. Workshop participants can influence and engage with the realization of this major project.
The workshop is free to attend. Places are limited and offered on a first-come first-served basis.
