Tomorrow NSAR will be attending the Train Driver Academy Conference at the Congress Centre, London. The event will bring together senior leaders from the Rail Industry, as well as representatives from other industries to talk about how the modernisation of training and recruiting a more diverse workforce can help them move forward.
Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson will be speaking about Diversity & Inclusion and case study workshops will also be available in which Train Drivers will share insights on their career journeys. Andrew Jones, MP Rail Minister, Kirsty Derry, HR Director East Midland Trains – Chair of Train Driver Academy Board and Mick Whelan, ASLEF General Secretary will also be in attendance.
