The latest government figures for apprenticeship starts shows another significant increase in the number of apprentices choosing to start a digital apprenticeship.
There have been a total of over 16,000 starts on the 13 published Level 3 and Level 4 standards, with over 3,300 of these being in the first quarter of this academic year (September – December 2018).
The five most popular starts are as follows:
- Infrastructure Technician – 5,350
- Digital Marketer – 3,890
- Software Developer – 1,380
- Data Analyst – 1,370

Our EQA activities, which review and report on the quality of the end-point assessment of these apprenticeships are ramping up now as we work with the digital end-point assessment organisations to ensure high-quality assessment. For more information regarding NSAR EQA click here.
