City Hall and TfL have launched an advertising competition calling on creative agencies and brands to challenge gender stereotypes, increase diversity and create more positive and inclusive campaigns. The winning campaign will win £500,000 worth of advertising space across the TfL network.
Women see limited mainstream representation, along with disability and diverse body types in advertising. TfL is presenting a key opportunity to shift the balance and represent the diversity of women. The 1.7 billion passengers it reaches annually through its advertising is simply helping close the gender gap further. The competition is already open for entries and closes Monday 22 October 2018.
