The Classroom 2 Boardroom programme concluded today at NSAR ‘s premises as number of pupils delivered presentations focusing on marketing techniques to attract young people to apprenticeships within the Rail industry. Some 25 students from Trinity School, Croydon pitched to a panel consisting of Derek Brown (Entrepreneurs in Action), Neil Roberston (NSAR CEO) Lucas Dambitis (Young Rail Professionals), Lorna McDonald (Hitachi) and Laura Harris (NSAR HR Manager).
The students discussed the research they would undertake, as well as the channels they would use to deliver their messages i.e. print advertisements, social media, branded merchandise, leaflets and billboards.
With thanks to EIA coach David Okoro and teacher Luca Signorelli and Geoff Lowdell (NSAR Skills Analyst), we hope the pupils went away with a new outlook on the rail industry.
