The VocTech Impact Fund 2018 Ufi works to raise UK skills levels by promoting innovative digital solutions for adult vocational learning. UFI is aware that technology has the power to transform the application of vocational learning and ‘scale up’ this impact to undoubtedly provide more efficient digital learning.
The fund is currently looking for projects that solve practical learning problems, offering high quality learning solutions and producing tangible benefits to learners and employers in the project duration.
Applications for funding open from 13 June 2018 will continue to be accepted until to 11 July 2018. Funding is open to all industries, sectors and technologies and £150-£300,000 is available for projects lasting up to 18 months.
The UFI Charitable Trust has already granted funding to NSAR for the Skills Live Project. Skills Live is the digital platform that is being developed that uses the medium of video to engage young unemployed people and introduce them to roles within Digital Rail. NSAR has been working with rail employers, such as TfL, Network Rail and Go-Ahead. Progress has been made in creating video content that is both relevant and engaging to young people.
