Last week NSAR hosted the first, and very successful, National Training Partnership (NTP) Forum & Networking Event. Over 32 delegates were in attendance (employers, training providers and institutions) to share thoughts and ideas on Training and Apprenticeships with a particular focus on the rail industry. Held at NSAR premises, the event started with NTP college members receiving tips and ideas on how to grow their apprenticeship business. They also viewed presentations on updates to forthcoming events related to the Rail Skills Delivery Plan as well as the Skills Live Project.
This was followed by lunch and a networking session which saw representatives from Network Rail, Go Ahead Group, Conel, Pod-trak, Deutschebahn, Absolute Rail, Atkins Training, Coleg Gwent, Sheffield Hallam University, University College London and many more.
“It was great to have so many passionate and enthusiastic representatives from organisations who truly understand the need to collaborate in order to train and upskill our workforce”
Neil Robertson, NSAR Chief Executive
We look forward to hosting many more.
